School Holidays
Two weeks of art, creativity and confidence.
This school holidays, kids ages 5–12 will spend 9am-4pm Monday–Friday making, experimenting and discovering what they can do through art.
Our program is designed to help children take creative risks, trust their ideas and feel proud of what they make - because confidence grows when kids get to try, figure things out and discover, “I can do this.”

build confidence through art in a fun, encouraging and creative environment.
These school holidays, we’re excited to introduce shell sculpture alongside plenty of opportunities to discover inspiring artists, experiment with painting and get creative!
We can’t wait to share what we’ve been planning and make these school holidays full of creativity, discovery and fun.

Week One: 28 Sept–2 Oct
Session 1: 9am - 12pm $65
Session 2: 1pm - 4pm $65 (or $110 for both sessions)
If kids are doing both sessions they will stay & play, for the lunch hour in between.
Monday 28 September
Morning 9-12: Omaha Beach: Shells & Sea Creatures 🐚
We’ll collect shells and natural materials before transforming our beach finds into colourful sea creatures and imaginative sculptures.
Afternoon 1-4pm Faith Ringgold: Stories in Colour
Explore Faith Ringgold’s colourful story quilts and create artwork inspired by pattern, colour and storytelling.
Tuesday 29 September
Morning 9-12: Fatu Feu’u: Pacific Patterns
Discover New Zealand/Samoan artist Fatu Feu’u and experiment with bold shapes, symbols and Pacific-inspired patterns.
Afternoon 1-4pm: Omaha Beach: Shells & Sea Creatures 🐚
We’ll collect shells and natural materials before transforming our beach finds into colourful sea creatures and imaginative sculptures

We’ll collect shells and natural materials before transforming our beach finds into colourful sea creatures and imaginative sculptures.
Afternoon 1-4pm: Yayoi Kusama: Dots, Patterns & Infinity
Step into the colourful world of Yayoi Kusama through dots, patterns and repetition. Kids will explore Kusama’s playful approach to art before creating their own bold artworks using circles, patterns and plenty of imagination.
Thursday 1 October
Morning 9-12: Henri Matisse: Cut-outs, Colour & Shape
Discover the joyful world of Henri Matisse through colour, shape and paper cut-outs. Kids will explore Matisse’s playful approach to art before creating their own colourful compositions using simple shapes, scissors and plenty of imagination.
Afternoon 1-4pm: Shell Sculpture Challenge 🐚
We’ll head to the beach to gather shells before taking on a creative sculpture challenge back in the studio.
Friday 2 October

Discover the vibrant work of New Zealand artist Robyn Kahukiwa, using colour, characters and storytelling to create our own artworks
